So one thing leads to another…

I wanted to make my own sparkly color combo of nail polish.

Loved it :). Ended up thinking to myself “oo I sparkle like Edward”

Which lead to me watching my own little Twilight marathon last night

And ofc I couldn’t help thinking how the books were SO much better than the movie.

So now I’m set on re-reading all of the books… Again.

This time on my kindle. I can’t waiiiit. :)

So thought this movie was going to be 100% hilarity. Its actually a mix of things, depression being a huge part of the plot.  Makes for a great story though. This guy (Jospeh Gordon Levitt) finds out he has stage 4 back cancer and is dealing with the short amount of time he has to live. one huge life lesson learned in a very short amount of time and great cast with the girl from Twilight & Up In the Air (Anna Kendrick) along with the dude from Knocked Up & Pineapple Express (Seth Rogen)

Bryce Dallas Howard from The Help is also in there. Shes gorgeous and a good actor but i feel like shes been type casted as a bitch… we shall see.

These will be the “barbies” that my future daughters will have. Children are too much like sponges to allow them to be exposed to just anything. They pick up on things much more quickly than most people realize. A black little girl gets a white barbie and that becomes her idea of beauty, fashion, perfection. GIVE HER BLACK BARBIES. Black barbies SHOULD range in skin tones, have different hair styles and textures, and embody the features that black women have. All little girls, especially black little girls, should be able to play with dolls that look like them and the women in their families that they look up to…  I do not ever want my daughter to think that she’s less than beautiful based on a mere piece of constructed plastic…
